ACS offers formal supervised training for intelligent, motivated graduate students, post-doctoral residents, and other individuals in the behavioral health field. Supervision opportunities exist for all specialties including, but not limited to: psychologists, counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists.
Individuals in the ACS training program work with successful and knowledgeable licensed professionals to evaluate and treat a diverse patient population. At ACS, trainees benefit from a happy, supportive, and modern therapeutic environment to gain supervised experience in specialty areas including, but not limited to: neuropsychology, forensic psychology, and organizational psychology. Our trainees also have the unique opportunity to work with other professionals in the community (e.g., lawyers, primary care physicians, neurologists, and teachers) and community agencies to provide individualized and productive treatment. In all, ACS provides trainees a distinctive, broad-based training experience, with supervision that typically satisfies the requirements of universities and licensing agencies.
ACS is always looking for individuals dedicated to a successful career in behavioral health. We are sensitive to trainees’ busy school, study, and family schedules, and provide flexible working and supervision hours. Currently, part-time and full-time internship, externship, post-doctoral resident, and related training opportunities are available.
